Entertainment apps

Entertainment apps cover things you watch, listen to, read, or play for fun. This group includes media players, streaming clients, and tools that connect you to content stored on your own devices or servers. Plezy: Media Server Client is one example, a client for connecting to a media server.

When choosing an entertainment app, check what it actually does before installing. Look at whether it needs a service account, a server you run yourself, or a network connection to work. Read the permissions it asks for, and check that the description matches what you want. Review the app's update history on its listing page so you know it is still maintained.
